Formosan Clouded Leopard once prowled in jungles on this magnificent island. They have roamed Asian forests from Indonesia to the Himalayas. But they were extinct in Taiwan now with rapid human expansion. People nowadays only can glimpse at pictures of this fantastic creature in the museum. However, the belief said that once again the clouded leopard can roam the beautiful forests of Formosa and resume its rightful place amongst the legends and folklore of the aboriginal tribes.
